Harvest Outdoor Decor
Here’s a quick post on how I decorated my front porch for the Fall Season.
If you’ve been following along, then you know about my addictions to ornamental veggie’s this year.
It all started with gourds...
Then I was all about the squashes and the heirloom pumpkins
and my last obsession is definitely my Glass Gem Corn. You have GOT to see all the pretty colors of this amazing corn in this post here!
I used outdoor rustic items inside for my fall vintage Thanksgiving tablescape
and vintage pieces outside for my rustic harvest outdoor decor.
I spilled gourds out of an antique bucket
and placed a gorgeous green, smooth skinned, brown warted pumpkin on a 1/2 hay bale.
I filled an old watering can with dried Astilbe plumes
and tied together a bundle of tall Zebra Grass for the corner
I pushed pansy’s into containers and weathered terracotta pots
added a bright yellow gorgeous mum and placed the potted
ornamental corn in the other corner.
But without a doubt… the prize in this display is my gorgeous Gem Corn Wreath
You can find out more about this and the corn I grew to make it in this post about Glass Gem Corn.
I love decorating for all seasons… and fall is definitely one of my favorites.
One last glimpse, then it’s time to get ready for the next big one
Christmas!
